About Rebecca Herrero
Rebecca Herrero is a practicing psychotherapist who has been leading groups and workshops in the
Bay Area since 1991. She helps individuals, couples, and families explore underlying feelings and
beliefs that limit life. She offers body-centered therapy and guided imagery to create options for
transformation.
She works on issues of intimacy and communication with couples both before and after their
weddings. She specializes in working with couples facing the challenges of conception and
infertility. She assists patients struggling with life-altering illness in local hospitals, in her
office, and in home settings. She works with families around issues of death and the dying process.
She assists others in discovering their own unique gifts and overcoming psychological blocks which
hold them back from living fulfilling lives.
With her training and experience as a physical therapist, a psychotherapist, and a pastor,
Rebecca helps others connect with their deepest passion and integrity. She has taught classes on the
mind/body connection for the Humanities Department at Marin General Hospital and for the Institute
for Health and Healing at California Pacific Medical Center. She often is asked to lecture on the
field of psycho-neuro-immunology, the study of the connection between stress and the immune system.
Rebecca received her bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida, her
master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Stetson University, and her master's degree in
Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary. She is trained and certified in Interactive Guided
