“I want to thank you so very much
for the support you extended to my family and most particularly to me during my mother’s
hospitalization and process of dying. I really appreciated our conversations and your concern
and caring attention. With deep gratitude I thank you for this. You are doing very good
work.”
“Your creativity, sensitivity,
love of beauty and spirituality show up in so many ways.”

The therapy is short-term and solution-based. Clients are encouraged to set therapeutic goals and
use benchmarks to track their own progress. Clients are helped to connect with their own deep source
of creativity, to discover their own internal resources, and to learn new and optimal responses to
their presenting challenges.
Life stressors can lead to heightened anxiety, depression, and relationship tensions. Clients
find the support they need to navigate difficult waters. In a supportive and caring environment,
they learn to regulate both their emotional ups and downs and their own bodily functioning. They
discover their own core beliefs. They can add stimulating beliefs that lead to success. They can
learn to entertain beliefs that insure a relaxation response.
Couples are given communication tools to lower the increased stress on their relationships.
Exercises to enhance their intimacy skills are offered. New and more fulfilling interactions are
learned. Conflicts are transformed into conversations.
Clients are given a clearer vision of their mind/body connection and their own innate healing
power. The concept of creativity is expanded to include the role of the heart and the mind. All work
is confidential and the pace of healing is left up to the client.
The Center serves people of all ages, faiths, cultures, and backgrounds. Limited scholarships are
available. There is a spiritual aspect of the work which is from a transpersonal and interfaith
perspective. There is no religious agenda. Compassion and integrity are the pillars of the work.
Spiritual direction is available upon request. |
